Typography Project
A script typeface is often one long ligature. Each letter is intertwined and linked, as if the hypothetical pen had never left the hypothetical paper. The script subcategory of calligraphic typefaces (Vox-ATypI classification) usually involves an aspect of imperfection, as no human consistently writes their o's in a perfect circle, and the dots in the i's can turn into something more like a dash.

Studying typography throughout my 3rd semester of graphic design, I was fascinated by ligatures and to see letters changing in relation to the character they're next to. Because when there are two identical characters next to each other, what are the chances – in terms of the physical handwriting – that they will be written identically?

Saeful Bahri is the designer of the beautiful Agustina Signature typeface. Starting with 101 glyphs, I added 254 to the regular font in this typeface, such as diacritics, symbols, and ligatures. I also modified some of the existing glyphs to suit my own style.
